EDUCATION 2020 supports the teaching and learning process.
Our instructional content is delivered online using proven best
practices.
Learning Goals
The uniqueness of the EDUCATION 2020 curriculum is that it provides
a full core curriculum for 6th through 12th grade in the 4 major
subject areas. Algebra I, for example, is taught by an Algebra
I teacher utilizing an Algebra I textbook with corresponding
assignments and supplemental materials. The learning goals, therefore,
are to develop an understanding of each content area within the
class such as that shown below.

Skills Development
As in any traditional class, skills, knowledge and understanding
of material are building blocks upon each other as the student
progresses through a course. Shown below are the content areas
of Chapter 3 Algebraic Concepts and Simple Equations.
Each lesson within the chapter teaches specific skills that must
be mastered before the student can move on to the next lesson.
In this fashion, the EDUCATION 2020 Virtual Classroom not only
fosters skills, knowledge and understanding, but ensures it as
an inherent part of the system based on student progression.
Chapter 3: Algebraic Concepts and Simple Equations
3-1 Modeling and Solving Equations
3-2 Modeling and Solving Two-Step Equations
3-3 Combining Like Terms to Solve Equations

Chapter 4: Equations and Inequalities
Scope, Sequence, and Course Length
Each course covers approximately twice as much content as compared
to a traditional classroom providing tremendous breadth and depth
to the material. EDUCATION 2020 courses cover nearly all material
covered in a standard classroom textbook in addition to teacher
personalized instruction. The duration of a course is approximately
70 to 110 hours to complete a full credit course with ensured
competency as the student progresses since the student cannot
progress unless competency is achieved.
